Cats With AIDS Could Help HIV Research, Says Texas A&M Vet

I just overheard a co-worker solemnly proclaim that her cat, was diagnosed with AIDS.... who knew? I didn't know cats got AIDS. Apparently... lots of cats have AIDS. How come no one is mentioning this epidemic? What are we doing to prevent this? They actually test cats for AIDS! this is amazing to me. In my mind we can compare side by side the Cat AIDS epedemic to the one in Africa. It's blossoming and growing like wildfire.. But it goes unnoticed.. I know that may be a bad comparison for some but look at it like this.. They are both epedemics that have run rampant. People are not doing much to stop either. People who don't know about aren't really informed about it. PEoplewho aren't involved don't care. How many people in america actually care about the AIDS epedemic in Africa unless of course they have family there or through culture have some sort of heart and ties to Africa? Really..
Who cares about the Cats AIDS epedemic except for concerned citizens and cat owners? who knew about this.. well i did an internet search on my buddy Google.. ;) Google seems to know that there are people who know about FIV and Cat AIDS.... right now i have so many questions..

Sorry if you thought you were going to come on here and read about how im moving on from my boyfriend... ex or otherwise.. i only have one comment on that one.. I had a dream i was going to marry that fool today... scurred the mess out of me.. i was going to scrap everything and have his musical babies.. damn it! the one thing i hate about my dreams is that i rememeber my reality.. so the whole time.. im like.. im getting married tomorrow.. but i just told everyone.. i was moving on and not treading backwards.. good grief.. it's not happening.. i have set my sights in new sexy directions.. i'll let you know monday.. how that went.. ;)

but back to more grave matters.. This Cats AIDS thing is serious.. i love cats.. i was once a Cat owner.. could i get FIV from my cat???.. please read folks.. seriously.. FIV is cats HIV.. it's serious like that.. Feline Immunodeficinany Virus.. wOAH! who knew.. i didn't..
but im a bookworm.. im curious like that.. and im going to read about it.. and let you know.. ;)
