See.. everywhere I turn the news folks are talking about the de-supersization of Micky D's... uhmm.. and this has got me wondering.. Especially since this is on the tail end of me deciding to really try this vegetarian thing... but uhmm... is this my fault.. cuz I stopped eating meat for a week? I think not.. . But it also has me wondering..
How many people were REALLY supersizing it at McD's ? Huh?!?!? I mean.. I've mean to McDonald's a few hundred times in my life and most times.. Most people. .. Don't supersize their meal.. Especially to the largest size.. that just seems a bit ridiculous.. The cups don't fit in your cup holders in your car... and by the time you get past the top layer of fries..well they are cold and just nasty.. so I'm like.. Who is really upset by the de-supersizing of McDonald's?!?!? There may be a few people who are upset.. but I am sure that number is minimal. Most of the people I know buy a basic meal or only go to McDonald's for the Dollar Menu! !! ! I mean if we really want to complain about something, lets talk about how McD's... Substituted the Big & Tasty on the menu with that plain ol' Double Cheesburger! ! ! and after eating Big & Tasties for almost a year for $1 I am really not feeling having to pay $3 for the same sloppy sandwich.. I mean really.. IM not...
Besides.. This is really a moot point.. I'm not eating meat. After only having McD's to eat for a year out of the VCU food court, and realizing their food only stays hot for like 2 minutes.. After...getting a hokey puck instead of a burger one day.. (that shit was HARD) after... finding a bone in my chicken nugget when I was 6... well.. after all that and few unmentionable or forgotten McD's memories.. I really don't eat their anyway.. so uhm.. so is this thing really affecting! ! ! I mean if the the super size stuff wasn't on the Dollar Menu..no one is really going to miss it anyway!
