i just saw "Bowling for Columbine" for the first time on Wednesday night. I saw Farenheit 9/11 like the first two weeks it was out in theatres.. And i applaud Micheal Moore for opening our eyes.. but im sitting here putting together mailing and wondering.. Should we trust him?

Micheal Moore (MM) does an excellent job of pointing out the faults of the media in "Bowling for Columbine" especially how they bring out that fear factor in us all. Especially in comparision to canadian news, in murders by firearms across the world, in how black men in general and specifically are made to seem like the boogeyman and how the whole firearm thing is blown out of proportion. Fear Factor. WE are prayed on by our media according to Moore, even according to Marilyn Manson (.. another MM) fear is encited, we go out and consume. Fear and Consumption. It's the American Way..

But then i have to think. While he is opening our eyes, MM is also the "MEDIA" should we trust him? should we trust anyone. IS this just my fear being acosted once again. I do appreciate him shedding light on a shady situation. I get tired of people playing along and following the piper. But if he MM shows us that the American way is faulty at best.. who do we trust? especially when we can't trust ourselves.?!?!?!?

There are so many important points brought up in Bowling for Columbine and Farenheit 9/11. Many of them are interwoven. You could watch both documentaries back to back.. Im just wondering.. and i probably shouldn't. how come no one else is doing this , or if they are.. where they heck are they? The documentarians.. are NECESSARY... MC and poets of today are documentarians. Spreading the word and opening our eyes.. let me rephrase that.. the conscious.. ones are.. you know when they are conscious... HINT: they don't speak on rims and hoes all day long..
Many of todays poets are the preachers for todays youth spreading the good word. Documentarians.. one and the same. but where are the film documentarians.. maybe i need to search more in the internet.. it's obvious the gobment... didn't want this out.. who knows what else is underground???..

. i guess the question now is what do i do now that all of this information.. it's like in church.. they say. once you know about god and sin.. you are responsible.. your excuse can't be.. well i didn't know about god i didn't know about sin.. you do.. so your responsible.. what do you do now?
