why do people's looks change according to how you feel about them??

like there was this guy i thought i was attracted to.. when i first saw him, i thought the boy was fine..
but now that i know him a little bit.. what i thought was so cute, isn't... and i still think he's cool person, could be a great friend. nice person to hang out with.. but now that my feelings are not so amorous... he doesn't look so appealing any longer..
he's cute... it's just that i don't see him in that.. i want you so bad and i dont know why.. way... oh... i'd love to hang out and pick your brain.. but picking anything else is out of the question... hah!
