flaws and all
I've accepted them all
every last one
adjusted to the fact that we don't need to keep adjusting
to make everyone else feel comfortable
if it makes us look selfish
it is
out for the sanity of me/we
since no one else seems to get it
& they're not required too
this life is our lesson
an expression
each experience like a new episode on life's great sitcom
emphasis on the Comedy
we will laugh all the way to the bank
if we can cash in the stress, pain and agony
if the clowns closing in around us
dont notice if we don't slide into the car
& it means we miss the bus/ the train/ the wreck at the end
of their cacophony of disillusions
if for once/ we ressurect contact
with the higher power within and gain in-sight
make the path clear for me/ we
inner vision provides direction for future prose paradise
& the roadkill is just an oversight
damn squirrels had no business in the road anyway...
they'll see
when we see
but some never will
even after the weapons are drawn
and the masterpiece is done
and the creator has moved on...
